How to find us & Parking

 

We are located on Drake Road to the left of Bedford Square in Tavistock town centre, the road that leads up the hill between the Natwest and TSB banks.  We are only 50 yards from the town hall.  Millers Estate Agents is next door to us.  

 

Parking is not included with your reseravtion, however there are eight public parking spaces in front of the house that are available for free from 5pm to 10am, Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday or for one hour outside of these times. There are several long stay car parks a few minutes walk away priced at £2.50 per day.

CHECK IN & OUT TIMES

You can check in from 3pm using a four-digit pin number via a keyless smart door lock - we will text you the pin number and instructions before arrival.  Check out is by 11am on the morning of departure, all bills to be settled either on arrival or on the night before departure.

 

PAYMENT

We do not accept credit or debit cards. Several cash machines are located 20 yards away. No shows will be charged the full amount.  We can text a link to a secure payment gateway to enable the use of credit ad debit cards if required.

 

ARRIVING AT ONE DRAKE ROAD

When arriving at the house, please use the "dark blue front door" located beside Miller's estate agents.

 

BICYCLES

Bicycles can be secured in our garage via prior arrangement.

 

DOGS

We are dog lovers, but no dogs allowed.

 

CHILDREN

We love having little people over the age of ten around the house.

 

FACILITIES

Hair dryers are provided.  Iron and ironing board available on request.  Basic wash and dry laundry facilities are available at £10 per load.  The Drawing Room is opened at 8am and locked around 9pm.  The alcoholic drink on display is for display purposes only, we are not licensed to sell alcohol.

One Drake Road is privately owned and managed by two experienced hospitality and retail experts. 

Iain was born and bred into hospitality industry following in his parents footsteps with a London based career in marketing, PR, design and hotel and restaurant operations and Jack works at the head office of a high-street retailer as a school leaver and never left.
